Emergency Plumbing in Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge

Fast licensed help when water is going where it shouldn't.

Emergency Plumbing — Flowline Plumbers

Burst pipes after a cold snap, a water heater dumping onto the basement floor, or a main drain backing up into the laundry tub — these situations don't wait for business hours. Flowline provides emergency plumbing across Waterloo Region and Southwestern Ontario seven days a week from 7am to 11pm. We're honest about hours: we're not a 24/7 call centre, but when we're open, we prioritize stopping damage and restoring essential water service.

Our emergency vans carry common fittings, shutoff tools, and diagnostic gear so the first visit often includes isolation, temporary repairs, and a clear plan for permanent fixes. You approve flat-rate pricing before major work proceeds — even in stressful moments, you won't face an open-ended hourly tab without consent.

After the immediate crisis, we schedule follow-up for code-complete repairs, drywall coordination if needed, and documentation for insurance claims where applicable.

Signs you need emergency plumbing

  • Active spraying or flooding from a pipe or appliance
  • Frozen or split pipes during winter cold snaps
  • No water to the whole house with no municipal outage reported
  • Sewage backing up through floor drains or tubs
  • Water heater leaking continuously at the base
  • Strong gas odour near appliances (leave the home and call us from outside)

Frequently asked questions

Are you available after 11pm?
Our published hours are 7am to 11pm, seven days a week. If you call outside that window, leave a message and we'll respond at opening. For life-safety gas emergencies, leave the home and contact emergency services as appropriate.
What should I do while waiting for the plumber?
Shut off the main water valve if safe to do so, move valuables from wet areas, avoid electrical outlets near standing water, and don't run fixtures if drains are backing up.
Do you handle burst pipes in winter?
Yes — common in poorly insulated crawlspaces and hose bib lines. We thaw where safe, replace compromised sections, and advise on insulation.
Will insurance cover emergency plumbing?
Policies vary. We document the cause and work performed; you submit to your insurer. We don't adjust claims but we answer technical questions honestly.
